About the Role

Due to continued growth, we are seeking an experienced Fire Technician to join our Cairns team.

In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, fault-finding, repairs, and installation of a broad range of fire protection systems and equipment. You will work across a diverse customer base, ensuring systems remain compliant, reliable, and performing at their best.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct inspections of customer sites and recommend appropriate fire protection and safety solutions.

  • Service, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair fire protection systems and equipment.

  • Carry out preventative maintenance activities in accordance with Australian Standards.

  • Complete installations and system upgrades as required.

  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant WHS requirements.

  • Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships.

What We're Looking For

To be successful in this role, you will bring:

  • A strong customer-focused approach and commitment to service excellence.

  • QBCC licence and relevant industry qualifications.

  • Current Queensland Electrical Licence.

  • Experience servicing and maintaining fire protection systems.

  • Strong planning, scheduling, and time management skills.

  • Sound understanding and practical application of WHS legislation and procedures.

  • The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team environment.
