About the Role

Due to continued growth across the region, we are seeking a Fire Technician to join our team, with the position able to be based in either in Port Macquarie or Coffs Harbour.

This is a hands-on role responsible for the inspection, servicing, maintenance, fault-finding, repair, and installation of a wide range of fire protection systems and equipment. You'll work with a diverse customer base, ensuring fire systems remain compliant, operational, and ready when it matters most.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect customer sites and identify fire protection requirements.

  • Service, maintain, and repair fire protection and life safety systems.

  • Conduct preventative maintenance in accordance with Australian Standards.

  • Complete installations, upgrades, and minor project works.

  • Diagnose faults and perform corrective maintenance activities.

  • Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with company and regulatory requirements.

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships through exceptional service delivery.

  • Relevant fire industry qualifications and licences.

  • Electrical licence or fire industry experience highly regarded.

  • Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding skills.

  • Effective planning, scheduling, and time management abilities.

  • Sound knowledge and application of WHS requirements.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
