Job Description

Constance Ephelia, a luxurious resort in the Seychelles, is seeking an enthusiastic and professional Fitness Coach to join our wellness team. As a Fitness Coach, you will play a crucial role in helping our guests achieve their health and fitness goals while enjoying their stay in paradise.

• Design and conduct engaging individual and group fitness sessions tailored to guests' needs and abilities
• Create personalised workout plans and provide nutritional guidance to support guests' fitness journeys
• Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and ensure safe use of fitness equipment
• Motivate and support guests to achieve their fitness goals, fostering a positive and encouraging environment
• Conduct fitness assessments and track guests' progress throughout their stay
• Collaborate with the spa and wellness team to offer holistic health experiences
• Maintain a clean and safe fitness environment, adhering to all health and safety protocols
• Stay updated on the latest fitness trends and incorporate them into training programmes
• Organise and lead outdoor fitness activities, taking advantage of the resort's beautiful natural surroundings
• Provide excellent customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction and promoting the resort's wellness offerings

Qualifications

• Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a related field
• Recognised fitness certification (e.g., ACE, NASM, ACSM)
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a fitness coach or personal trainer
• Expertise in various fitness techniques and exercises, with the ability to adapt to different fitness levels
• Strong knowledge of nutrition and diet planning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire clients
• Current First Aid and CPR certification
• Understanding of tropical climate exercise considerations and ability to adapt workouts accordingly
• Willingness to relocate to Seychelles
• Experience working in a luxury resort or spa environment (preferred)
• Knowledge of luxury hospitality industry standards (preferred)
• Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage
