Job Description
We’re looking for energetic Food & Beverage Attendants to join our team at NRMA Forster-Tuncurry Holiday Park, located on beautiful Worimi Country.
About the role
You’ll be part of a friendly, down-to-earth team helping guests relax, recharge and enjoy their stay. No two days are the same, but you can expect to:
- Serve food and beverages with a smile and a chat
- Make guests feel welcome from their first hello to their last goodbye
- Assist with basic food preparation and service
- Keep the café/food areas clean, tidy and inviting
- Support smooth day-to-day operations in a busy holiday park environment
If you’ve got barista experience or qualifications, that’s a big plus – we love a good coffee, and our guests do too!
About you
You’ll be a great fit if you:
- Enjoy working with people and bring a positive, can-do attitude
- Are comfortable in a fast-paced environment (especially during school holidays and long weekends)
- Are reliable, punctual and a genuine team player
- Have good communication skills and a customer-first mindset
- Are willing to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays
Previous hospitality or customer service experience is great, but not essential – the right attitude is what matters most, and we can teach you the rest.
What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Genuine customer focus – you enjoy helping people, creating a welcoming atmosphere and making sure every guest has a positive experience.
- Strong communication skills – you’re confident speaking with guests, taking orders accurately and working closely with your team.
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience – ideally in a café, restaurant, bar, club or similar food and beverage environment.
- High standards of presentation and hygiene – you take pride in your appearance and maintain clean, safe and tidy work areas.
- Ability to work under pressure – you stay calm and organised during busy periods and can juggle multiple tasks at once.
- Team-oriented attitude – you support your coworkers, step in where needed and understand that great service is a team effort.
- Flexibility with hours – you’re available to work a mix of days, nights, weekends and public holidays as required.
- Reliability and professionalism – you turn up on time, follow procedures and can be trusted to deliver consistent service.
- RSA competency card (NSW) – or willingness to obtain one if required for the role.
- An eagerness to learn – you’re open to training, feedback and developing your skills as part of the team.
