Job Description:
Duties/Responsibilities
Provides a high quality of service to patients, families, staff and customers in the preparation and service of meals.
Utilizes correct food sanitation and food safety.
Completes daily, weekend and holiday cleaning.
Stocks food products using FIFO.
Completes grocery storage following correct locations, FIFO, timeliness, removing dented or damaged product.
Completes cleaning of equipment, ware washing, floors, walls according to the correct procedures.
Required Skills/Abilities
Food Service experience preferably in a hospital setting preferred.
Must have excellent communication skills and experience with customers and patients.
Must have the State of Texas Food Handlers certification within 60 days of hire.

Physical Demands: Heavy
Physical Requirements: Lifting/Carrying, Pushing/Pulling, Stooping/Kneeling/Bending, and Repetitive Movement, Stooping/Kneeling/Bending, Climbing
Lifting or carrying between 35-50 lbs.
Sensory/Communicative activities essential to the performance of this position: Hearing, Seeing, Feeling, Smelling, Speaking, and Tasting
This position will be exposed to Inside Environments, Bloodborne Pathogens, Loud Noise and Chemical Hazards
