Job Description

💰 Pay & Schedule

  ✅ $23.07 to $23.61/hour 

  ✅ Night shift: Monday to Thursday, 5:30 PM to 5:30 AM

  ✅ Night premium: 2$/H

Your Role

Key Responsibilities

• Review work completed on previous shift and work to be completed according to priorities established by the production supervisor;
• Handle products carefully to bring them to the storage line;
• Transport various materials and/or supplies for operational needs; 
• Inspect machinery before the start of each shift and change operators as required;
• Ensure the cleaning of the premises and equipment to keep the work environment clean and safe; 
• Notify the production supervisor of any mechanical breakdowns;
• Operate the forklift safely and meticulously;
• Be very vigilant in the method of driving, in order to avoid accidents and/or overturns: pedestrians, buildings, fixed equipment, trucks and other machinery;
• Use the forklift according to its capabilities and limits; 
• Outdoor work environment
• Be buckled up at all times;
• Responsible for cleaning the interior and exterior of the machine;
• Comply with company health and safety rules;
• All other related duties.

Qualifications

• Valid forklift operator's competency card or to be renewed 
• Experience as a sit-down forklift operator (1 year minimum)
• Self-motivated and proactive
• Good attendance record 
• Resourcefulness
• Punctual person
• Ensure compliance with work safety standards and instructions

This is a physically demanding position. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds (23kg). Manual dexterity, teamwork, hand-eye co-ordination and a combination of sitting, standing and walking required.
