This position requires an active Secret clearance with the ability to obtain a Top-Secret.Â
Responsibilities
- Leverage knowledge of programming languages to design and develop softwareÂ
- Write original code and update existing code, ensuring that all code meets program requirementsÂ
- Integrate software components and third-party programsÂ
- Verify and deploy programs and systemsÂ
- Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing softwareÂ
- Ensure all new software functions smoothly across various programs and platforms, including mobile systemsÂ
- Work directly with US Army mission partners to develop solutions for the WarfighterÂ
- Gather and evaluate user feedbackÂ
- Gather and assist in the preparation of epics and features based on user needsÂ
- Recommend and execute improvementsÂ
- Create technical documentation for reference and reportingÂ
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:Â
- Active SECRET clearanceÂ
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical fieldÂ
- Must meet DoD 8570.01 certification requirements for Information Assurance Technology (IAT) Level IIÂ
- Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar roleÂ
- Previous government technology experienceÂ
- Demonstrated experience DEPLOYING software with Agile development methodologiesÂ
- Experience with software design and development in a test-driven environmentÂ
- Demonstrated Cloud experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS)Â
- Demonstrated experience deploying and maintaining APIs on AWS infrastructureÂ
- Ability to show proficiency in programming languages and frameworks such as .NET, .NET Core, C#, Java, or PythonÂ
- Ability to learn new programming languages and technologiesÂ
- Experience using GitLab as a version control systemÂ

- Masters Degree Â
- Knowledge of the Army software development process and its technologiesÂ
- Experience working in a consultant/client environmentÂ
- Familiarity with federal IT standards and policies such as FISMA, NIST, and the RMF processÂ
