Full Stack Developer – Python, FastAPI/Django, ReactJS & UX/UI

Job Summary

Synechron is seeking a Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in Python, FastAPI and/or Django, ReactJS, and UX/UI design. The role will involve designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and user-focused technology solutions for asset management and financial services environments.The position combines backend engineering, frontend development, and user experience design. The successful candidate will contribute to the complete software development lifecycle, from understanding business needs and designing user experiences to building secure APIs, implementing sophisticated interfaces, and supporting production-ready solutions. This role contributes to business objectives by delivering reliable digital solutions, improving user experience, supporting efficient business operations, and enabling secure and scalable technology platforms.

Software Requirements

Required

• Strong Python development experience, with 7–10 years of relevant full-stack or software engineering experience.

• Extensive hands-on engineering experience in asset management or the broader financial services industry.

• Proficiency with FastAPI and/or Django for developing RESTful services.

• Significant experience designing, developing, testing, and maintaining REST APIs.

• Expert knowledge of frontend technologies, particularly ReactJS.

• Significant UX/UI design experience, including the ability to design and implement sophisticated user interfaces using ReactJS.

• Experience delivering scalable and secure technology solutions.

• Proficiency with current, supported versions of Python, ReactJS, FastAPI and/or Django, and associated development tools.

• Experience working effectively across teams and communicating with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Experience designing full-stack applications for investment, portfolio, trading, risk, reporting, or other financial services workflows.

Overall Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack applications using Python, FastAPI and/or Django, ReactJS, and related technologies.

• Develop secure, scalable, maintainable, and well-documented RESTful services.

• Translate business and user requirements into technical designs, service interfaces, application components, and intuitive user experiences.

• Create and implement sophisticated, responsive, and accessible user interfaces using ReactJS.

Day-to-Day Activities

• Design and develop Python-based RESTful services using FastAPI and/or Django, while implementing sophisticated ReactJS interfaces informed by UX/UI requirements.

• Participate in requirements discussions, design reviews, sprint planning, code reviews, testing activities, and collaboration with business, product, design, and technology teams.

• Deliver production-ready code, API documentation, UI components, technical designs, test results, defect fixes, and progress updates for assigned initiatives.

• Make technical decisions within the assigned scope, identify delivery and security risks, resolve issues, and escalate dependencies when decisions require broader review.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant field; equivalent relevant professional experience may also be considered.

• Extensive practical experience delivering scalable and secure software solutions within asset management or the broader financial services industry.

• Relevant training in Python, FastAPI, Django, RESTful services, ReactJS, UX/UI design, secure development, or cloud technologies is preferred.

• Certifications in software engineering, cloud technologies, UX/UI design, or financial technology are preferred but not mandatory unless required for a specific assignment.

• Maintain continuous professional development in full-stack engineering, ReactJS, UX/UI practices, application security, scalable architecture, and financial services technology.
