Game Designer (World of Warships: Legends)

Job Overview

World of Warships: Legends team in Belgrade is looking for a Game Designer. As a member of the World of Warships team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with a talented and passionate group of professionals and make a meaningful impact on the direction and success of the game.

World of Warships: Legends game is a free-to-play naval action MMO that puts players in command of some of the most iconic ships in history. From agile destroyers to mighty battleships, players can choose from a variety of classes and nations as they battle it out on the high seas.

What will you do?

• Design, implement, and balance new gameplay and content features for World of Warships Legends

• Partner with internal and external teams to execute development goals

• Work with the analytics team to optimize and improve day-to-day user behavior

• Create and support game design documentation

What are we looking for?

• 2+ years of Game Design experience (ideally on console projects)

• Solid understanding of at least one game design area: good experience with moment-to-moment gameplay (3Cs, weapons, abilities, etc.) or session-to-session gameplay (economy, progression, customization, etc.)

• Positive attitude and ability to accept feedback, working in a multidisciplinary team

• Excellent communicator (spoken and written) with good interpersonal skills

• Upper-intermediate English to participate in daily meetings and discussions with English-speaking teammates

• Be aware of industry trends, and know a wide range of games across multiple platforms and genres with a general understanding of the main game design approaches and principles

What additional skills will help you stand out?

• Programming experience

• Upper-intermediate Russian language skills

• Level design experience

• UX/UI design understanding

Work mode

• Onsite during probation period and hybrid after that period (3 days' work form office and 2 days' work from home).
