Your purpose will be:
To carry out all required duties to maintain the exterior appearance of the property including gardens, car parks, lawns and other landscaped areas.
Job Description
- Daily maintenance of the Hotel and Spa gardens, car park and drives, lawns, and other landscaped areas
- Planning, costing, and implementation of planting schemes
- Planning and implementation of landscaping projects
- To achieve a high level of attention to detail in all tasks undertaken
- To be highly motivated and productive with a strong work ethic
- To communicate effectively with colleagues, supervisors, members and guests
- To always maintain healthy and safe working practices
- Good time management
Qualifications
- At least 2 years’ experience as a gardener or landscaper
- NVQ level 2 in horticulture (or equivalent)
- Ability to work unsupervised and in a team
- Planning and implementation of planting schemes and landscaping projects
- Good communication skills
- Good work ethic and self-motivation
The additional attributes below would be advantageous but not essential:
- Spraying Pa1 and 6
- Chainsaw cs 30/31
- Possesses a positive ‘can-do’ attitude
