Job Description

At Syngenta, our goal is to build the most collaborative and trustworthy team in agriculture, providing top-quality seeds and innovative crop protection solutions that improve farmers' success. To support this mission, we are looking for a Global e-Sourcing Specialist to lead digital procurement initiatives and optimize sourcing strategies across regions. You will leverage SAP Ariba and analytical tools to deliver cost efficiencies, strengthen supplier engagement, and drive adoption of e-Sourcing practices across the organization.

Accountabilities:

• Lead end-to-end sourcing events (RFI, RFQ, e-Auctions) using SAP Ariba, ensuring competitive outcomes and stakeholder alignment
• Perform spend analysis to identify savings opportunities and develop data-driven category strategies
• Design and execute e-auction strategies that maximize supplier participation and deliver measurable cost reductions
• Develop and deliver training programs for suppliers and internal teams on SAP Ariba tools and digital procurement processes
• Act as the subject matter expert for e-Sourcing, driving continuous improvement and adoption of digital sourcing practices globally

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• 5–8 years of experience in Procurement or Source-to-Pay domain
• Hands-on experience managing sourcing events in SAP Ariba (Sourcing and Supplier modules)
• Demonstrated experience conducting spend analysis and translating findings into actionable strategies
• Track record of running e-Auctions with quantifiable cost savings
• Strong communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work across regions and time zones with diverse teams
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field

Desired Qualifications:

• Experience with BI/reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI
• Exposure to broader Source-to-Pay processes (contract management, supplier lifecycle)
• Certification in procurement or supply chain (e.g., CIPS, CSCP)
• Experience delivering training or change management programs in a global setting
