PRIMARY FUNCTION

  • Assist in new or revised formulations and production process development under supervision for new or line-extension product.

  • Assist Scientists in bench, scale-up, plant trial, and manufacturing of new/ revised product.

  • Assist Scientist in manufacturing support and troubleshooting for existing formulation and process.

  • Conduct revision on plant process to deliver the required product specifications.

  • Assist in projects to improve plant costs, product margins, quality and business excellence goals in product and process related fields.

  • Assist Scientist in conduction the qualification of new and alternate supply of ingredients and packaging. Assist in new process qualifications and validation studies.

  • Monitor shelf-life studied and provides technical justifications for the shelf-life.

  • Assist documentation to support product registration and First Lot to Stock commercialization activities.

  • Direct own daily activities to meet project deliverables and priorities.

  • Document experiment, results and observation in a timely accurate manner. Analyze data, formulate conclusion and write report.

  • Compliance to all applicable safety, quality and AN policies and procedures.

  • Assist Scientist to design and conducts advanced independent and multidisciplinary technology transfer and application developments.

  • Assist Scientist in applying advanced technology and manufacturing knowledge to projects and manufacturing efficiency.

  • Work with Scientists to deliver breakthrough technology for Asia Region.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop formulations and/or processes for new and existing products to the markets.

  • Contributes to the definition and timely achievement of overall project goals.

  • Adhere to project milestones for sub-projects, and assures activities are on critical path.

  • Summarizes data and analyzes results; formulates conclusions and reviews progress with supervisor.

  • Work independently to meet goals and project objectives

  • Perform feasibility and optimization on studies at lab, pilot, and plant scale.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related scientific field.

  • Basic knowledge of food and nutrition science and technology principles and applications.

  • Fluency in Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, Powerpoint).

  • Troubleshooting and resolve/recommend.

  • Demonstrated ability to assess and synthesize scientific data.

  • Some travel may be required.

  • Strong interpersonal and writing skills with attention to details.

  • Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally.

  • Ability to manage multiple and varied tasks and prioritize workload.

  • Possess learning agility, will to win, sense of urgency, integrity and teamwork.
