Position Summary
Assists the Food Service Supervisor and/or Manager with oversight of the daily operations of patient and non-patient services, includingdaily operational activities of the department, assuring that all quality and standards are met.
Responsibilities
β’ Schedules and trains staff, reports cash transactions, prepares cash deposits, compiles patient menus and special needs, setup andchecking of patient tray line and opening and closing of the department.β’ Prepares breakfast, lunch and dinner, directs catering and doctorβs lounge service.β’ Communicates proper information regarding any patient or non-patient needs to peers, staff and Food Service Supervisor orManager.β’ Maintains reasonably regular, punctual attendance consistent with Orlando Health policies, the ADA, FMLA and other federal, stateand local standards.β’ Maintains compliance with all Orlando Health policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Education/TrainingHigh School graduate or equivalent required.ExperienceThree (3) years previous food service experience.
