Job Description

We're looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented GSA - Housekeeping to join our hospitality team at ibis Hyderabad HITEC City Hyderabad, India. In this role, you'll play a vital part in creating exceptional guest experiences by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and service. As a GSA - Housekeeping professional, you'll work collaboratively with our housekeeping team to ensure every guest room, suite, and public area reflects our commitment to excellence and hospitality.

• Clean, service, and prepare guest rooms, suites, and public areas according to established hotel standards and brand guidelines
• Replenish guest amenities, minibar supplies, linens, and room essentials while maintaining exceptional presentation and organization
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests and special requirements, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction and care
• Report maintenance issues, lost and found items, room status updates, and any concerns to the Housekeeping Supervisor in a timely manner
• Follow all hotel hygiene, safety, and brand standards to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for guests and staff
• Manage time efficiently to complete assigned tasks within scheduled timeframes while maintaining quality standards
• Collaborate with team members to support smooth daily operations and contribute to a positive, inclusive work environment
• Demonstrate problem-solving skills when addressing guest needs or operational challenges
• Maintain professionalism and reliability in attendance and punctuality

Qualifications

• Minimum Higher Secondary (12th Pass) or equivalent education
• Diploma or Certificate in Hotel Management or Housekeeping (preferred)
• Prior experience in housekeeping operations or guest service roles (advantageous)
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact professionally with guests and colleagues
• Proficiency in English for effective communication
• Solid understanding of housekeeping equipment, cleaning chemicals, and safety procedures
• Physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Team-oriented mindset with a positive and professional attitude
• Ability to follow instructions, procedures, and brand standards consistently
• Problem-solving abilities and resilience in handling guest requests and operational challenges
• Reliability and punctuality with a commitment to maintaining high performance standards
