About this role

About Us

Gumloop is the piece of AI infrastructure companies roll out to let everyone build agents securely. Let people who understand the problem build and share agents, manage their access to data, choose your AI models and host it all in your own cloud.

We're a very small team building as fast as humanly possible. Gusto, Ramp, Shopify, Samsara, Instacart, and Opendoor are running agents on Gumloop across their company. We've raised over $70M from Benchmark, First Round Capital, Y Combinator, Nexus Ventures to scale operations and are looking for people who care as much as we do to join the team.

Role Overview

We're looking for a GTM Engineer to build and operate the automated systems that power Gumloop's revenue engine. You'll focus on three areas first and foremost: sales outbound, marketing automation, and. This is an individual contributor role on a GTM function that exists but is still in its earliest days, so you'll have a real greenfield opportunity to shape how we work.

You'll build agents and workflows on Gumloop to automate our own go-to-market, and you'll also work across Salesforce, Clay, Apollo, HeyReach, Ads Platforms to connect the full GTM stack into one automated system. We've seen what a technical person can do in this role and we want more of it: someone who thinks in systems, is comfortable with APIs and data, and can ship automations that make our sales, marketing, and CS teams dramatically more productive.

What You'll Do

  • Build the GTM engine on Gumloop: Design and deploy AI agents and workflows that automate our own go-to-market, from signal-based prospecting and enrichment to meeting scheduling, CRM hygiene, and post-call follow-ups. Dogfood the platform harder than anyone.

  • Connect the full GTM stack: Integrate Salesforce, Clay, Apollo, and other tools into a cohesive system where data flows cleanly between them. Build the enrichment logic, sync architecture, and routing rules that keep everything accurate and deduplicated.

  • Own and build inside Salesforce: Take ownership of the objects, fields, tables, flows, automations, validation rules, and integrations that keep our revenue motion running cleanly - and give every GTM team the structure and clean data they need to execute.

  • Automate sales outbound: Build the outbound engine end-to-end, covering intent detection, account enrichment, AI-personalized touchpoints, human review checkpoints, and CRM sync, all wired to a single output: qualified meetings on the calendar.

  • Automate marketing and CS workflows: Ship playbooks for lifecycle marketing, lead scoring, churn-risk alerts, onboarding sequences, and customer health monitoring. Turn manual, repetitive work across marketing and CS into automated systems.

  • Partner with GTM leadership to turn strategy into systems: Work directly with sales, marketing, and CS leadership to translate go-to-market strategy into automated playbooks, dynamic scoring models, and signal-driven workflows that produce measurable revenue outcomes.

  • Own data quality and governance: Build the validation rules, deduplication logic, and data structure that the rest of the GTM stack depends on, so every team can trust the data they're working from.

  • Build for reliability and document your work: Design observability, monitoring, and debugging into the systems you build to keep them running at high uptime, and document what you ship so others can understand, trust, and extend it.

  • Influence the product: Your experience automating Gumloop's own GTM is a direct input to product development. Surface friction, propose features, and help shape what we build next.

What You Bring

  • Technical aptitude: You're comfortable working with APIs, webhooks, data integrations, and SQL. You can write scripts to connect systems and manipulate data. You don't need to be an advanced coder, but you think in systems and can build automations from scratch.

  • 3+ years in a GTM Engineering, Growth Engineering, Revenue Operations, or technical RevOps role where you worked closely with sales, marketing, or CS teams. We're also open to people from adjacent technical roles who want to move into GTM.

  • GTM fluency: You understand the sales funnel, CRM data models (Salesforce, HubSpot), enrichment ecosystems (Clay, Apollo, 6sense), and how revenue teams actually work day-to-day. You can speak the language of AEs, SDRs, and CSMs.

  • GTM tooling fluency: You're comfortable across the modern outbound and prospecting stack - LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Unify (and similar sequencers), HeyReach, PhantomBuster, and other GTM tooling - and can wire these tools together into automated workflows.

  • Attribution & analytics literacy: You understand attribution models and when to apply each (first-touch, second-touch, last-touch, view-through, and multi-touch attribution), and you're comfortable with the analytics and tracking stack: PostHog, Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, and working with server-side conversion events. You can build reporting that reflects how revenue is actually created.

  • Builder mentality: You see a manual process and immediately think about the automation or agent that replaces it. You've shipped internal tools, automation pipelines, or data workflows that measurably improved a team's output.

  • AI-native mindset: You've built with LLMs, prompt engineering, or AI agents, whether in production or on the side. You have opinions about when AI should make decisions versus when a deterministic workflow is the right call.

  • High ownership in ambiguity: You thrive in early-stage environments where the requirements aren't fully defined. You figure out what matters, build it, ship it, iterate, and own the outcome.

Bonus

  • Fluency with AI-native GTM tools -Gumloop, Claude, Cursor, OpenAI or equivalent

  • CS degree or equivalent technical background

  • Open source contributions or side projects related to automation, agents, or data pipelines

  • Familiarity with ad platforms is a plus - LinkedIn Ads, Google Ads (search, YouTube, display), and Meta Ads

  • Experience building ABM (account-based marketing) campaigns from scratch is a plus

  • Experience shipping production LLM applications, or a background in analytics / data engineering

Benefits

  • Highly competitive salary and meaningful equity

  • Generous paid time off: 24 days for SF employees

  • $350/month wellness benefit to spend on gym, spa, equipment, or whatever keeps you at your best

  • 15 days of temporary remote work flexibility per year

  • 401k match up to 6%
