About the role

We are seeking an experienced Handyperson to ensure the hotel and lodge facilities are well-maintained, safe and functional. In this role you will be responsible for providing minor maintenance to site infrastructure and buildings, including any day-to-day trouble shooting. 

This key role within our operation and due to the nature of guest's requirements, this full time role will be on a roster that may include working outside of normal working hours and weekends.

The successful applicant can expect their responsible duties to also be varied and include, but not be limited to:

• Priortise maintenance requests to ensure smooth operations.
• Provide minor maintenance and repair to hotel & lodge infrastructure and buildings.
• Carry out preventative maintenance tasks to keep the hotel & lodge at a high standard.
• Maintain tidiness and presentation of hotel & lodge
• Respond quickly and professionally to reports of leaks, breakages, and other items not functioning.
• Conduct pool testing/servicing
• Carry out tasks with minimal impact on guest experience
• Carry out tasks independently where required.

About You

Reporting to the Chief Engineer/Maintenance Manager, the successful applicant will be:

• Punctual, hold a great attitude and a team player.
• Self-motivated, a problem solver and well organised
• Trade qualifications and hospitality experience are advantageous, but not essential
• Previous experience in building and facility maintenance
• Well presented as this role requires guest interaction
• Holds current drivers license
