Haul Truck Driver- Aggregate Plant

Premier Sand and Stone LLC, a subsidiary of Coyote Rock LLC, located in Sheridan, Arkansas is a fast-paced and fast-growing Specialty Aggregate company. Premier Sand and Stone is an open pit mine that operates VSI crushers and material separation wash plants focusing on the Golf, Sports Field and Pool Industries. We are currently seeking a full-time Haul Truck Driver. The Haul Truck Driver is responsible for operating off-road haul trucks to transport aggregate materials safely and efficiently throughout the mining operation. This position plays a vital role in maintaining production by moving raw materials between excavation sites, crushers, stockpiles, wash plants, and waste areas while adhering to all company safety policies, MSHA regulations, and operating procedures. This candidate will pursue Safety Excellence in all aspects of the operation as well as perform any reasonable request made by the Operations Manager or the Director of Business Operations, Premier Sand and Stone, LLC.

Full Time

Monday-Friday 7am- 5pm

Principal Accountabilities:

• Protect company information and trade secrets with utmost confidentiality.
• Always follow the 7 Cardinal Rules of Safety without exception.
• Operate off-road haul trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
• Transport aggregate materials, overburden, and other mined products to designated locations.
• Load and dump materials according to established operating procedures.
• Perform pre-shift and post-shift inspections of assigned equipment.
• Complete required equipment inspection reports and promptly report mechanical issues or safety concerns.
• Observe haul roads for hazards and report unsafe conditions immediately.
• Maintain awareness of surrounding personnel, equipment, and changing site conditions.
• Assist with other mining or plant duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements Include, but are not limited to:

• Being on your feet for the majority of the workday
• Occasionally lifting and carrying objects over 50 lbs.
• Driving manual transmission vehicles around the yard and shop
• Keeping a brisk work pace throughout the day
• Exposure to dust, noise, vibration, and outdoor weather conditions
• Standing, walking, bending, lifting, and climbing ladders or stairs.
• Use of PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, hearing protection, harnesses, etc.) is mandatory
