We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Dental Nurse to progress their career and join our PortmanDentex York practice as Head Dental Nurse. 

Are you interested in being an integral team member, influencing policies and ensuring continual practice standards & compliance? Working directly with the Practice Manager, this role combines clinical, chairside duties with an opportunity to take on additional responsibilities relating to compliance, audits & ordering. 

The essentials:

• Full-time 37.5 hours per week  
• Mondays - Fridays 8.45am - 5.15pm
• Competitive hourly rate from £15 per hour in line with experience 
• Free colleague parking on site
• Opportunity to work independently within our nurse-led clinics, and fully within your scope of practice 

  About you 

We’d love to receive your application to our Lead Dental Nurse vacancy if you have the following skills and experience: 

• A recognised Dental Nursing qualification and active GDC registration 
• Previous experience in a similar lead or senior dental nurse role 
• A caring and empathetic approach, with strong communication and leadership skills 
• A team player who thrives on supporting others and delivering excellent patient care
