TheĀ Health Project Lead will drive the implementation of the health projects inĀ Gaza,Ā ensuring the implementation remains focused on project goals.Ā Your role will focus on leading and facilitating project implementation by engaging with consortium partners,Ā coordinating with other health actors in the cluster and technical working groups, supervising the technical team,Ā and coordinating with support teams to ensure timely delivery of project supplies. You will work in coordination with theĀ Area DirectorĀ to ensureĀ theĀ timely implementation of program activities and with theĀ TechnicalĀ Advisor to ensure continued technical support to theĀ technical team and RIĀ partner,Ā and facilitate quality improvement.Ā You will participate in regular stakeholder engagement activities mainly with RI partners, donors,Ā and other humanitarian actors. You will be involved in identifying health and nutrition needs and designing suitableĀ interventions, andĀ updating them according to the situation.Ā
- Key ResponsibilitiesĀ Ā
Project Implementation &Ā ManagementĀ
- Work with the program teamĀ to deviseĀ project work plan and oversee implementationĀ with partners and programs team.Ā
- Supervise the project coordinators and ensure regular supportive supervision of RI supported projects.Ā
- Coordinate with RIĀ implementingĀ partners to ensure smooth implementation of the activities, continued quality improvement and consistent information sharing.Ā
- Coordinate with the technical advisor to ensure RI quality benchmarks, protocols and guidelines are followed.Ā
- Coordinate with the program teamĀ and the support team to ensure timely procurement and deliveryĀ of project materials.Ā
- Participate in project development including needs assessment and project design.Ā
- Oversee technical quality of secondary health care services, including surgical, pediatric, maternal-child health, and nutrition interventions.Ā
Stakeholder Engagement & AdvocacyĀ
- Represent RI in health clusters and technical working groupsĀ on technical discussions related to service quality, clinical standards, referral systems, and secondary health care priorities.Ā
- Coordinate with health authorities and partners on technical alignment, gap identification, and service improvement priorities.Ā
Ā
Technical Support & Capacity BuildingĀ
- Coordinate with the programĀ team andĀ Technical AdvisorĀ to organize trainings for RI partners,Ā including identifying consultant trainers where required.Ā
- Support implementation and follow-up of clinical audit, case review, and supportive supervision action plans.Ā
- Provide technical support toĀ theĀ RI technical team in collaboration with the health and nutritionĀ technical advisor.Ā Ā
- Conduct technical capacity assessments of supported partners/facilities and develop capacity-strengthening plans.Ā Ā
- Mentor facility teams on clinical protocols, case management standards, and quality improvement actions.Ā Ā
- Promote infection prevention and control (IPC), patient safety, and safe clinical practices across supported sites.Ā
Monitoring, Evaluation & ReportingĀ Ā
- Develop/ follow-up on implementation of monitoring tools in all RI supported health projects.Ā
- In collaboration with the programĀ teamĀ and technical advisor,Ā track project progress against targets and reportĀ accurately.Ā
- Contribute in the monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, highlighting achievements, challenges, and lessons learned.Ā Ā
- Review and validate service delivery and clinical data that is received from partners, for completeness, accuracy, and consistency with source documents.Ā Ā

Essential criteria
Ā
- Bachelorās degree in Medicine.Ā
- Masterās degree in Public HealthĀ would be an asset.Ā
- SignificantĀ clinical Secondary health care experience.Ā
- Significant Program management experience with INGOsĀ
- Fluency in Arabic and proficient in English.Ā
- Strong stakeholder engagement and negotiation skills.Ā
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities, with the capacity to multi-task and meet deadlines.Ā

Desirable criteriaĀ
- Masterās degree in Public Health.Ā
- Experience in clinical quality assurance, supportive supervision, and quality improvement in hospital or secondary health care settings.Ā Ā
- Knowledge of clinical protocols, referral systems, IPC, and patient safety standards.Ā Ā
- Experience in partner capacity strengthening and technical mentoring of health staff.Ā Ā
- Experience in reviewing health information/data and using findings to improve program quality.Ā
