More about the role

We are looking for a Health & Safety and Operational Security Specialist, who will be responsible for ensuring the facility's compliance with applicable legal requirements and Signify standards in the areas of occupational health and safety (H&S), and physical security.

Key Responsibilities

• Implementing and continuously developing the Health & Safety program and the Operational Security policy in line with Signify's strategy and standards.
• Ensuring the facility's compliance with applicable legal regulations and corporate requirements related to occupational health and safety and physical security.
• Developing and implementing procedures and standards related to physical security and infrastructure protection.
• Coordinating projects aimed at improving safety and implementing new technical and organizational solutions.
• Cooperating with regional and global EHS and Security teams to ensure the achievement of corporate objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Coordinating cooperation with external contractors, consultants, and service providers in the areas of health and safety and physical security.
• Monitoring the effectiveness of implemented solutions and initiating actions to further improve safety and organizational compliance.

Requirements

• Certified qualifications required to perform the duties of at least a Senior Occupational Health and Safety Inspector under Polish regulations.
• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety and physical security regulations.
• Experience in project management and working with external service providers.
• Proficiency in English, with the ability to communicate effectively in an international environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make independent decisions and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all organizational levels.
• Experience in risk assessment, auditing, accident investigations, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives.
• Ability to develop and implement safety procedures and standards.
• Knowledge of regulations related to workplace physical security.
• Polish citizenship.
• Clean criminal record.
