Help Desk Specialist II - 505754

Delaware Nation Industries provides organizational support to the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. In this role, DNI helps maintain an effective information management framework that supports the timely deployment, reliable operation, and continuous improvement of information systems critical to AFRL’s research mission.

Responsibilities:

• Provides end-user support of Windows desktops, laptops, and tablets.

• Supports standard user applications.

• Installs and configures Windows OS images, applications, and system tools.

• Troubleshoots general IT system issues.

• Deploys IT components to user locations.

• General Windows desktop operating system support and troubleshooting.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• Support ticketing/queue system use (Remedy, ServiceNow, etc.)

• Knowledge of CMD and/or PowerShell

Optional/Nice to Have:

• Linux and/or MacOS experience a plus.
• Active Directory/DRA experience a plus.
• DoD IT experience a plus.

• 2-4 years of relevant experience.
• Active Secret clearance (or higher).
• Active Security+ (or 8570 equivalent).
