About this role
Responsibilities
The HIM Technician is responsible for retrieving, prepping, scanning and indexing patient records and loose documents in accordance with the departmental standards as outlined by OakBend Medical Center.
Qualifications
MINIMUM EDUCATION:
High School graduate or GED; relevant experience in lieu of High School Diploma/GED education will be considered.
MINIMUM WORK EXPERIENCE:
Previous experience in Medical Records or physician office preferred.
REQUIRED LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
None
REQUIRED SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES:
Excellent organizational skills, ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment, attention to detail and previous experience on a computer.
