The property will be managed by Accor under white label while it undergoes a comprehensive property improvement plan. Key ResponsibilitiesÂ
Â
Reporting to the Outlet Manager, responsibilities and essential functions include, but are not limited to:Â
Â
Consistently offer a professional and friendly greeting, and provide engaging serviceÂ
Complete Daily Operations ( i.e. opening and closing duties, daily cleaning, dining room preparation, moving and arranging tables and chairs, reservation bookings, confirmations and cancellations, coordinating FOH and BOH with regards to services, guests, allergies, VIPs, etc.)Â
Seat the guests and introducing restaurant’s concept.Â
Assisting guests regarding menu choices in an informative and enthusiastic way Â
Taking reservations with all required details in a welcoming and friendly manner Â
Boosting our revenue through upselling and other creative initiatives Â
Understand shift end reports in the outlet and POS systemÂ
Coordinate and control flow of outlets, seating plans and special eventsÂ
Follow outlet policies, procedures and service standardsÂ
Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverageÂ
Consistently offer a professional, friendly greeting and engaging serviceÂ
Exhibit sincere hospitality. Go above and beyond for the guest. Be obsessed with guest satisfaction.Â
Carrying out administrative duties, including printing menus and managing Â
stationary requisitions Â
Have knowledge of all menu items, garnishes, contents and preparation methodsÂ
Have full knowledge of beverage lists and promotions, menu items and preparation methodsÂ
Follow brand policies, procedures and service standardsÂ
Follow hotel time and attendance policyÂ
Follow grooming and attire guidelinesÂ
Other duties as assignedÂ

Qualifications
Â
Passion for and understanding of 5-star hospitality and what it takes to deliver it Â
Empathetic with a talent for building rapport, and reading each guest’s desired level of interaction Â
Quick thinking, resourceful and able to solve problems ’in the moment’ Â
Ability to always remain calm and courteous Â
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced and changing environment Â
Able to work collaboratively as part of a team Â
Willing to work in rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays Â
Portuguese and English languages knowledgeÂ
Basic knowledge of a POS System Â
Industry related certifications Â
Basic knowledge of a PMS system (Opera)
