Responsibilities

Housekeeper Responsibilities

As a Housekeeper at Lorien Mount Airy, you will help maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents, visitors, and team members by:

• Vacuuming, sweeping, and mopping resident rooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Dusting, polishing, and sanitizing furniture, fixtures, and surfaces.
• Refilling housekeeping, restroom, and resident care supplies as needed.
• Collecting and disposing of trash in accordance with facility procedures.
• Assisting with laundry services, including washing, drying, folding, and distributing linens.
• Cleaning and sanitizing resident bathrooms and shared spaces.
• Following infection prevention, sanitation, and environmental services protocols.
• Adhering to all safety, health, and workplace cleanliness standards.
• Maintaining housekeeping equipment and reporting maintenance concerns.
• Providing courteous and professional service to residents, families, and staff.
• Supporting a clean, welcoming, and comfortable environment that promotes resident well-being.

 

 

Qualifications

• Full Time/Part-Time
• Schedule: 7a-3:30p
• Every-other weekend availability (Saturday and Sunday)
• Ability to safely lift, push, and pull up to 25–50 pounds as part of daily job responsibilities, with or without reasonable accomodation.
