Job Description

Potters Resorts Five Lakes, Colchester Road, Tolleshunt Knights, Maldon, Essex, CM9 8HX

We’re looking for reliable, hardworking people who take pride in their work and enjoy being part of a supportive team. Previous housekeeping experience is welcome but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Hours and location

• 30 hours per week
• 9am–3pm
• Working five days out of seven
• Rotational weekend and bank holiday working

Please note that, due to our rural location and lack of public transport, you will need a full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle.

What you’ll be doing:

As a Housekeeping Team Member, you’ll help ensure our guest accommodation is beautifully prepared and ready to welcome each new arrival. Your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning and refreshing guest bedrooms and bathrooms to a high standard
• Making beds, dusting, vacuuming and sanitising surfaces
• Replenishing towels, toiletries and other guest amenities
• Responding politely and helpfully to guest requests
• Reporting any maintenance issues or damaged items
• Using cleaning products and equipment safely
• Following our health, safety and hygiene procedures
• Working closely with your colleagues to complete rooms efficiently and on time

Pay:  £10.85 - £12.71 per hour (depending on age)

Qualifications

What we’re looking for:

You don’t need previous experience to join us—we’re more interested in your attitude and approach. You’ll be:

• Comfortable working at pace and as part of a team
• Able to manage a physically active role involving bending, lifting and repetitive tasks
