The team you’ll join:

You’ll join Deloitte’s People & Performance team as an HR Advisor. Our team partners closely with business leaders to shape a positive, high-performing culture. Based in Auckland or Wellington, you’ll be part of a collaborative, values-driven team that supports leaders and teams across the employee lifecycle, delivering both strategic people initiatives and trusted day-to-day HR advice.

Job Description

The impact you’ll make:

As an Advisor you will partner with leaders to deliver practical, commercially aligned people solutions that support business performance and enable our people to be and work at their best. Your typical day will include:

  • Providing trusted HR advice to business leaders and employees across the employee lifecycle, including performance, engagement, talent, and employment relations
  • Supporting the design, change management and implementation of business unit and firm-wide people initiatives aligned to Deloitte’s people strategy 
  • Using people data, insights and sound judgement to identify risks, opportunities and practical solutions

Qualifications

Your expertise:

Bring your generalist HR and business partnering experience, employment relations knowledge, and ability to operate confidently with senior stakeholders and see what impact you can make.

You’ll also have:

  • Around 2-3 years’ experience in a generalist HR or HR Business Partner role
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in HR, psychology, management, or a related discipline
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management and problem-solving skills
