We are actively looking for an HR Generalist to provide day-to-day human resources supportÂ
across two locations in Brantford, Ontario. Â This position partners employees and leaders toÂ
support core HR processes including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performanceÂ
management, policy interpretation, and compliance with Ontario employment legislation. Â Â
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Â
Employee Relations & HR Support:Â
- Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures,Â
and workplace issues - Support employee relations matters, including performance management, attendance,Â
accommodation requests, and conflict resolution - Assist with workplace investigations and documentation, escalating complex matters asÂ
appropriate - Foster a positive employee experience aligned with company valuesÂ
Support in employee engagement and internal social programsÂ
Recruitment & Onboarding:Â
- Support full-cycle recruitment, including job postings, screening, interviews, and offerÂ
coordination for hourly positions  - Facilitate pre/onboarding activities to ensure a smooth and compliant new-hireÂ
experience - Support offboarding processes, including exit interviews and terminationÂ
documentation for all hourly positions Â
HR Administration & Compliance:Â
- Maintain accurate employee records in the HRIS (Bamboo) and training (Percipio) andÂ
ensure that all paperwork is provided to payroll for processing. Â Â - Ensure compliance with Ontario employment legislation (ESA, OHRC, WSIB)
- Support absence management by tracking days missed and issuing documentation asÂ
required Â
Â
Performance & Talent Support:Â
- Support performance review cycles and related documentation
- Conduct investigations and develop recommendations as necessary Â
- Assist managers with goal-setting and ongoing performance conversations, documentÂ
performance improvement plans, and coaching conversations  - Contribute to learning, engagement, and development initiativesÂ
Policy & Process Improvement:Â
- Assist in developing, updating, and communicating HR policies and proceduresÂ
- Support HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving efficiency, culture, andÂ
compliance - Contribute to continuous improvement of HR practices and employee experienceÂ
Assist in completion of monthly metricsÂ
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:Â
- Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related fieldÂ
2–5 years of progressive HR experience in a Generalist or Coordinator role - Working knowledge of Ontario employment legislation and best practicesÂ
- Experience using HRIS and ATS systems (ADP preferred)Â
- Previous experience in talent acquisition is a must with a preference for candidates withÂ
manufacturing experience  - Strong data mindset; leverages data to drive decision making and influence changeÂ
