Job Description

 

  • Promote communication of health and safety matters between employees and their local managers
  • Raise H&S issues and recommendations for improvement
  • Inform management of unsafe acts or practices, and where necessary, assist in preventing access, works or activities until removal of the hazard occurs, or rectification works have been completed.
  • Assist in H&S decision making and act on location specific matters of H&S that could result (if not promptly controlled) in an incident or injury
  • Assist your regional MD and management in the coordination and monitoring of health & safety management arrangements within the office(s) for which they are responsible.
  • Monitor H&S compliance by ensuring staff complete mandatory e-learning training.
  • Generate, monitor and input office compliance information into the health & safety compliance database.
  • Conduct/provide input to the H&S risk assessment process / H&S audits (where qualified) in cooperation with staff and management. Monitor and record completion and review periods and verify close out of any corrective actions.
  • Assist with reviews of legal obligations and legal compliance checks where required In conjunction with management.
  • Record accident, incident and near miss information into the system.
  • Support the Global H&S Team by facilitating Global Health, Safety and Wellbeing campaigns in your office.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualifications in construction, project management or similar function
  • At least minimum 15 years experience, and 5 years experience in Data center
  • Possessed IOSH or NEBOSH certificate
  • Ability to lead large multi-disciplined construction teams, with excellent leadership and problem solving skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Able to work under pressure
