Job Description
A Day in the LifeÂ
HTM Dialysis Specialist will work closely under the supervision of the Clinical Engineering Director, as well as the Senior HTM Dialysis Specialist. Responsibilities include the following. Â
- -Maintain, test, repair all water treatment equipment, dialysis equipment, testing equipment, as required by the manufacturer. Â
- -Document all maintenance and repairs. Â
- -Maintain an accurate equipment inventory.Â
- -Conducts water testing at required intervals and maintains this documentation. Â
- -Ensures all maintenance is completed in a timely fashion and is within required grace periods. Â
- -Ensures all work areas are safe and clean. Â
Qualifications
What’s Required Â
- Associate’s degree in electronics or biomedical equipment technology; In lieu of an associate’s degree consideration will be made for a high school (or GED equivalent) diploma and 2 years of relevant experience.Â
- Valid driver’s license and or ability to cover at other facilities and transport equipment and supplies as needed.Â
- Qualities and traits: Collaborative, independent, analytical, mechanical, self-motivated, self-starter, continuous learner.Â
- Prior experience working in a mechanical, automotive, or construction industry, Dialysis, or medical technical setting. (Preferred, but not required). Â
- Continued employment contingent upon successful completion of OEM technical training for B.Braun Dialysis machines. Â
