About Your Role

The Infrastructure Project Manager is responsible for managing assigned infrastructure and capital improvement projects from initial planning through project completion. This role provides leadership throughout all phases of project delivery, including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, design management, construction oversight, contract administration, risk management, and project closeout. Working closely with program leadership, consultants, contractors, and client representatives, the Infrastructure Project Manager ensures projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with established quality standards and program objectives.



Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field required.



What You'll Need to Get the Job Done

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience managing construction or infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of pre-design, pre-construction, contract administration, project delivery methods, building systems, construction technologies, and industry best practices.
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with demonstrated leadership, initiative, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
  • Experience managing publicly funded capital improvement or infrastructure programs.



Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
  • Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certification.
  • Experience managing publicly funded capital improvement or infrastructure programs.



What You'll Do

  • Manage project development from programming through project completion in accordance with program objectives.
  • Lead planning, budgeting, scheduling, procurement, design, construction, commissioning, and project closeout activities.
  • Administer contracts for architects, engineers, consultants, contractors, and vendors throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop bid packaging strategies in collaboration with senior program leadership.
  • Manage pre-bid and post-bid meetings and oversee preparation and execution of construction contracts.
  • Monitor project scope, budgets, schedules, and overall performance to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Review and approve consultant invoices, contractor pay applications, change orders, and contract amendments.
  • Coordinate design reviews, cost estimate reviews, and value engineering efforts.
  • Support project engineers with cost tracking and project controls as applicable.
  • Oversee project permitting activities and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Coordinate specialty services including commissioning, geotechnical investigations, testing, inspections, and related project functions.
  • Facilitate weekly project meetings, prepare meeting minutes, and communicate project progress to clients and senior leadership.
  • Support procurement activities and bid evaluation recommendations.
  • Maintain effective relationships with clients, contractors, consultants, regulatory agencies, and project stakeholders.
  • Oversee project risk management, safety planning, quality assurance, and project execution plans.
  • Coordinate project funding interfaces and ensure compliance with program requirements.
  • Monitor project performance through key performance indicators, site visits, and progress reporting.
  • Coordinate information requests from auditors and regulatory agencies as required.
  • Review and prepare executive-level reports and project documentation for client leadership.
  • Support the development and implementation of program policies, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as a liaison between program leadership, project teams, and client representatives.
  • Ensure project documentation complies with company quality management standards and established program procedures.
  • Regularly brief executive leadership on project status, risks, opportunities, and performance metrics.
  • Perform other project management responsibilities necessary to support successful program delivery.

Salary

  • $160,000.00 – $170,000.00 annually



Bonus Opportunity
