Pay: $52,472 - $56,972 per year based on experience

Location: Lake Ozark, MOHours: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:00pm year-round

Responsibilities

Instruction & Student Support

  • Deliver engaging, differentiated Math and Science instruction tailored to individual learning needs.
  • Adapt lessons and pacing for students with varying abilities, IEPs, 504 Plans, and treatment goals.
  • Foster a safe, structured, and trauma-informed learning environment.
  • Support students' academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth.

Assessment & Documentation

  • Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
  • Maintain accurate academic records, progress reports, and required documentation.
  • Participate in IEP meetings and educational planning.

Collaboration & Compliance

  • Partner with therapists, residential staff, families, and school districts to support student success.
  • Participate in team meetings and professional development.
  • Ensure compliance with state regulations, program policies, and classroom safety standards.

Qualifications

  • Preferred Qualifications & Requirements

    • Experience creating differentiated instruction and scaffolding lessons to meet individual student needs.
    • Student-centered approach with the ability to support diverse learning styles.
    • Highly organized, flexible, and structured.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
    • Passion for student growth and creating engaging learning experiences.
    • Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field.
    • Valid Missouri teaching certification with authorization to teach at the elementary and/or middle school level.
    • Qualified to teach Mathematics and Science per Missouri DESE requirements; relevant endorsements preferred.
    • Ability to pass state and federal background checks and drug screening.
    • Must be at least 21 years of age.
