Instructional Design & Learning Operations Intern 

Position Summary 

The Instructional Design & Learning Operations Intern will support the development and delivery of internal functional training. This role focuses on instructional design, learning project coordination, and light LMS administration. The intern will partner with Epicor Learning & HR team members, and business stakeholders to help create engaging learning experience, organize training projects, publish content, and track learner participation. 

Key Responsibilities 

• Assist functional SMEs in designing and developing internal training materials, including job aids, quick reference guides, eLearning content, presentations, and knowledge checks. 

• Support project management for training initiatives by tracking timelines, deliverables, reviews, and launch readiness. 

• Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather content, clarify learning objectives, and ensure training accuracy. 

• Publish, test, and maintain courses in the LMS, including basic course setup, learner assignments, and completion tracking. 

• Support quality assurance by reviewing learning content for clarity, consistency, accuracy, and learner experience. 

• Collect learner feedback and assist with basic reporting to identify improvement opportunities. 

• Help organize learning assets, documentation, and standard templates. 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities 

• Interest in instructional design, learning technology, corporate training, or talent development. 

• Strong written and verbal communication skills. 

• Strong organization, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities. 

• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and subject matter experts. 

• Comfort learning new technology platforms and tools. 

• Familiarity with PowerPoint, Articulate, Camtasia, Docebo, or similar tools is a plus. 

Qualifications 

• Currently pursuing a degree in Instructional Design, Education, Learning Technologies, Human Resources, Communications, Business, Psychology, or a related field. 

• Experience creating presentations, training materials, digital content, or school project portfolios preferred. 

• Prior LMS or eLearning experience helpful but not required.
