Job Description

• The Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) Senior Developer plays a pivotal role in supporting Sodexo’s Integrated Facilities Management System (IFMS) platform. This position is critical to ensuring the stability, scalability, and continuous improvement of the D365 F&O ecosystem, aligning it with Sodexo’s business objectives and Microsoft’s product roadmaps. 

• As a senior technical expert, the role requires in-depth experience with D365 F&O development, including complex customizations, integrations, and performance optimization. The Senior Developer will be instrumental in addressing critical business issues, managing platform enhancements, and collaborating with internal stakeholders and external partners to deliver high-quality solutions. 

• The role demands strong technical acumen, a problem-solving mindset, and leadership skills to guide both technical projects and junior team members. It also involves proactive monitoring and maintenance of the D365 F&O platform, ensuring system reliability and compliance with security policies.

Responsibilities 

Development and Customization: 

• Develop and customize D365 F&O using best practices in extension mode. 

• Create custom integration solutions with third-party vendors. 

• Implement performance optimization strategies for critical modules. 

• Review and manage licenses to ensure fit for purpose assignments 

Technical Leadership: 

• Conduct architectural reviews of proposed changes to ensure alignment with security and compliance standards. 

• Maintain comprehensive documentation, including solution architecture and configuration build guides. 

• Mentor junior developers and provide guidance on technical best practices. 

Support and Troubleshooting: 

• Provide Level 3 technical support for D365 F&O. 

• Troubleshoot complex application and integration issues, delivering timely resolutions. 

• Minimize unplanned outages through proactive monitoring and support. 

Testing and Deployment: 

• Lead systems integration and regression testing for new functionalities. 

• Collaborate with project managers to ensure smooth coordination of testing with stakeholders. 

• Manage deployments and monitor system performance post-go-live. 

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: 

• Work closely with Microsoft Gold Partners on complex scoping and solution design. 

• Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, ensuring technical solutions align with business needs. 

• Identify and address technology limitations within current systems and processes. 

Knowledge & Skills 

• Deep understanding of D365 F&O customization and extension development. 

• Proficiency in Visual Studio, SSRS Development, and Azure integrations. 

• Experience with data migration, integration, and system upgrades. 

• Familiarity with Power Platform tools like Logic Apps and Power Automate. 

• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills. 

• Ability to operate effectively in a collaborative team environment. 

• Strong documentation and presentation capabilities. 

• Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CE and the broader Dynamics 365 ecosystem.  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 

Experiences

• 5+ years of hands-on development experience with D365 F&O (or AX 2012). 

• Proven track record of managing and delivering complex D365 F&O solutions. 

• Experience with Microsoft DevOps, Visual Studio, and Lifecycle Services (LCS). 

• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in high-pressure environments.
