IT Infrastructure Owner – Production, Lund

Do you want to own and shape the IT infrastructure that keeps Axis production running? We're looking for an IT Infrastructure Owner who combines a strong ownership mindset with the ability to bring people and technology together. This role is based at our headquarters in Lund. 

Your future team 

You will join Infrastructure & IT Operations, the department responsible for the platforms and infrastructure that Axis depends on every day. In this role, your focus is our production environment which is spread globally.  

You won't be alone. Around 60 highly skilled technicians work alongside you, either driving technical development or supporting you with deep expertise in their respective areas. Your strength lies in bringing that knowledge together and turning it into a coherent, long-term infrastructure concept. 

This is an ownership role rather than a people management role — you set the direction, and you lead through collaboration, clarity, and trust. 

What you'll do here as IT Infrastructure Owner 

Axis production depends on infrastructure that is available, reliable, and secure. As IT Infrastructure Owner, you take responsibility for that infrastructure today — and for developing it based on the latest technologies for tomorrow. 

• Own the infrastructure – Take responsibility for Axis IT infrastructure and platforms across our production sites, and build and evolve the infrastructure concept over time 

• Balance innovation and stability – Develop the infrastructure concept using new technologies while keeping the operational environment available and reliable 

• Align with the business – Coordinate roadmaps and goals together with production and other stakeholders across the organization 

• Build for the long term – Contribute to our long-term goals, with security and resilience at the center. 

• Lead projects and initiatives – Manage projects and activities related to our production sites. 

• Strengthen daily operations – Develop the day-to-day IT infrastructure support model on and around our production sites 

• Ensure compliance – Work to meet relevant regulatory requirements 

Who are we looking for? 

We're looking for someone with a strong ownership mindset — you take responsibility for the infrastructure and its long-term development, and you see it through. You are structured and organized, comfortable managing several activities, priorities, risks, and stakeholders at the same time. 

You communicate clearly and adapt to your audience, whether you're discussing details with technical specialists or aligning goals with production and business stakeholders. Collaboration comes naturally to you, and you enjoy working across production, IT, security, engineering, and beyond to bring people together around shared goals. 

You are genuinely curious about technology and keen to learn — without needing to be the deepest specialist in every area. Your value lies in seeing the whole picture and knowing how to draw on the expertise around you. 

We'd love to hear that you have: 

• Experience from a similar role, where you have built technical concepts and driven change and technical development 

• Experience coordinating and leveraging technical specialists. 

• Basic knowledge of technologies such as networks, servers, and backup solutions 

• Experience leading projects and initiatives 

• Experience developing and managing roadmaps and long-term strategies 

Bonus points if you also bring: 

• Experience from a large and complex organization, preferably within an international, multi-site environment
