About this role

Shape the Future. Build the Solutions. Make an Impact.

At Rubberatkins, we’re investing in the future of technology, digital transformation and AI. We’re looking for a curious, hands-on IT Systems and Automation Analyst to support our day-to-day IT systems while helping us build automations, integrations and AI-powered tools that enable us to work smarter.

This is a hands-on role at the heart of an established manufacturing business. You'll support our day-to-day IT systems and infrastructure, while building the automations, integrations and AI-powered tools that help us work smarter.

We’re looking for someone with practical experience in automation, AI tools or business systems, whether gained through a previous role, personal projects or self-directed learning, and who is motivated to keep developing those skills.

We're not looking for someone who simply maintains systems. We're looking for someone who sees opportunities where others see challenges, who enjoys asking "how can we do this better?", and who has the drive to turn ideas into reality.

You'll work closely with colleagues across the business to identify opportunities for automation, digitalisation and AI adoption, while helping keep our technology infrastructure secure, reliable and fit for the future.

This is a great opportunity for someone early-to-mid career with a genuine passion for AI and automation, looking to build their experience and take on more responsibility as the role develops.

What You'll Be Doing

In this role, you’ll support our IT systems and help drive automation and AI adoption across the business. You will:

  • Provide day to day support across our IT infrastructure, systems and end users.
  • Build and maintain automations and integrations that improve how the business works.
  • Support the practical adoption of AI tools to solve real business problems.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, increase efficiency and enhance decision-making through technology.
  • Support the security, availability and performance of our IT infrastructure and systems.
  • Promote cyber security awareness and contribute to practical improvements that strengthen our security posture.
  • Work with colleagues across the business to understand challenges and deliver practical solutions.
  • Support relationships with external technology partners and suppliers.
  • Bring curiosity and a continuous improvement mindset to everything you do.

Who We're Looking For

We're more interested in attitude, potential and ambition than ticking every box. We're looking for someone who:

  • Is passionate about technology and excited by its potential to improve how a business works.
  • Has a genuine interest in AI, automation and emerging technologies.
  • Is naturally curious and enjoys learning new skills and exploring new ideas.
  • Enjoys solving problems and finding smarter ways to work.
  • Is comfortable working hands-on, from day-to-day IT support through to building automations and digital solutions.
  • Has good communication skills and enjoys working with people across different parts of the business.
  • Wants to grow their skills and take on more responsibility over time within a growing business.

Why Join Rubberatkins?

Be part of the change. Lead innovation. Strengthen security. Make tomorrow better than today.
