JavaScript Team Lead/ BackEnd Developer

What You'll Do:

• Lead and mentor a team of JavaScript developers, fostering a collaborative environment where technical expertise and knowledge are actively shared.
• Architect, design, and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems using Node.JS to meet both current and future business needs.
• Own the technical direction of projects, ensuring all development activities run smoothly and align with organizational standards.
• Oversee project timelines, allocate resources effectively, and actively participate in planning sessions to ensure timely, high-quality software delivery.
• Conduct thorough code reviews, identify opportunities for improvement, and uphold high coding standards across the team.
• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to deeply understand project requirements and translate them into clear technical specifications and actionable plans.
• Run regular 1:1 meetings, delivering constructive feedback and supporting the professional growth of each team member.
• Stay current with the latest trends and technologies in the JavaScript ecosystem, and continuously implement best practices to improve code quality, performance, and system reliability.
• Serve as the primary technical point of contact for project owners, ensuring clear and consistent communication throughout the project lifecycle.
• Actively contribute to the hiring process and onboard new team members to help them integrate quickly and effectively.

What You Bring:

• 6+ years of professional JavaScript experience, with a strong understanding of its capabilities and ecosystem best practices.
• 4+ years of backend development experience with Node.JS, including deep knowledge of its architecture and performance optimization techniques.
• 2+ years of proven experience leading and managing software development teams, with a genuine focus on mentorship and team growth.
• Solid understanding of software architecture and design principles, including hands-on experience with architectural patterns and building scalable systems.
• Strong proficiency with Git and modern version control workflows, with a track record of applying best practices in collaborative development.
• Advanced knowledge of database management and optimization, with extensive experience in MySQL, MongoDB, and Elasticsearch.
• Familiarity with Angular and its ecosystem is a plus — demonstrating the ability to contribute across the full stack when needed.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with sharp debugging and diagnostic capabilities.
  Proven leadership track record with excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working across teams and stakeholders.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a genuine commitment to continuous learning and growth.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
