Junior Chartered Accountant / Finance & Accounts Executive

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Accounting & Reporting

• Oversee day-to-day accounting functions, ensuring compliance with Accounting Standards (AS / Ind AS).
• Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, P&L, Cash Flow).
• Ensure accurate reconciliation of bank accounts, inter-company transactions, vendor balances, and customer accounts.

2. Taxation & Compliance

• Handle direct and indirect tax compliances, including GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B), TDS/TCS filings, and income tax matters.
• Ensure timely payment of statutory dues and filing of required returns.
• Assist in tax audits, statutory audits, and routine regulatory compliances.

3. Budgeting & Financial Analysis

• Assist in variance analysis by comparing actual financial performance against budgets and forecasts.
• Prepare MIS reports and management dashboards to support decision-making.

4. Audit & Internal Controls

• Support internal control reviews to ensure operational efficiency and standard operating procedures (e.g., inventory audits, 5S standards).
• Coordinate with external auditors, bank auditors, and statutory authorities during evaluations.

Qualifications & Skills

• Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) registered with ICAI.
• Experience: 0 to 2 years of post-qualification experience (Completed articleship in a reputable firm is required).
• Technical Skills:
  • Strong working knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax Laws, and Corporate Law.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Tally Prime / ERP systems) and Advanced MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, formulas).
  • Familiarity with manufacturing or industrial accounting processes is an added advantage.
• Soft Skills: High level of integrity, strong analytical ability, sharp attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
