Job Description

Come join our team to contribute to cloud-native Test Orchestration products used in complex telecommunications environments.

We are looking for a Junior DevOps Engineer with solid Linux fundamentals, basic scripting or cloud-native knowledge, good English communication, and a proactive learning mindset.

You will support feature development, platform operations, automation, and troubleshooting under the guidance of experienced engineers, working with technologies such as Linux, Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, Git, Jenkins, Python, and Bash.

This is a growth-oriented role. You are not expected to be fully productive from day one; structured knowledge transfer, shadowing, and hands-on practice will help you gradually take ownership of real tasks.

Your responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• • Participate actively in knowledge-transfer sessions, shadow experienced engineers, and build capability through guided hands-on assignments.
  • Support day-to-day checks and basic operations in Linux and Kubernetes environments.
  • Assist with container deployments, configuration changes, log collection, and initial troubleshooting using Docker and Helm.
  • Write and maintain simple automation scripts in Bash or Python.
  • Support CI/CD pipeline execution and contribute small improvements under guidance.
  • Triage support tickets, reproduce issues, collect diagnostics, document findings, and escalate effectively when needed.
  • Contribute to software testing, fault correction, technical documentation, FAQs, and continuous-improvement activities.
  • Communicate progress, questions, and risks clearly in English, and collaborate proactively with local and international team members.

Qualifications

A university degree, final-year study, or equivalent practical experience in Computer Science, IT, Telecommunications, Software Engineering, or a related field is preferred.

• Fresh graduates and candidates with up to 2 years of relevant experience are welcome.
• Solid Linux fundamentals, including files, permissions, processes, services, networking basics, and command-line troubleshooting.
• Basic scripting skills in Bash, Python, or another commonly used scripting language.
• Basic understanding of Git and version-control workflows.
• Foundational knowledge of containers, Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, or other cloud-native concepts.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD concepts; exposure to Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, or similar tools is beneficial.
• Basic networking knowledge, including TCP/IP, DNS, ports, and common connectivity checks.
• Ability to follow troubleshooting steps, analyze logs, ask focused questions, and document what was tried.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Strong learning ability and willingness to grow through knowledge transfer, shadowing, and hands-on coaching.
• A proactive, responsible, collaborative attitude with good analytical and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Hands-on exposure through internships, labs, coursework, or personal DevOps projects.
• Basic Java or Spring Boot knowledge.
• Exposure to Ansible, GitOps, Maven, artifact repositories, SonarQube, or software testing.
• Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, OpenSearch/ELK, or Zabbix.
• Interest in telecom or Test Orchestration, or relevant entry-level Linux or cloud certifications.
