  • Contribute to frontend and backend application development using modern programming languages like Javascript/TypeScript or Python.
  • Build and improve APIs, internal integrations, and databases that power Odin's core business operations.

  • Work closely with an experienced, lean engineering team, progressively taking ownership of real production features from development through release.

About the Role

We're looking for a curious and driven Junior Software Engineer to join our lean Product & Engineering team. In this role, you'll work across frontend and backend development, API integrations, and AI-powered automations-building systems that actively improve and streamline our core business workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Learn and contribute to frontend and backend application development with guidance from the engineering team.
  • Assist in building and improving APIs, integrations, and internal workflows.
  • Write clean, understandable code while following team engineering practices.
  • Participate in debugging, testing, code reviews, and technical discussions.
  • Work closely with experienced engineers and gradually take ownership of small development tasks.

Required Experience

  • Experience building software through academic, personal, internship, freelance, or open- source projects.
  • Familiarity with at least one modern programming language such as Javascript/Typescript or python.
  • Basic understanding of web development, APIs, databases, and Git.
  • Demonstrated interest in software engineering, automation or AI-powered applications.

Favorable Experience

  • Familiarity with React, Node.js/NestJS, Python/Django or similar technologies.
  • Experience experimenting with LLMs, AI agents, tool calling, or AI-powered applications.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms, containers, CI/CD or software deployment.
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs or building automation workflows.

Qualification

  • Recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field.
  • Good understanding of programming fundamentals, data structures, algorithms and databases.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and work across frontend, backend, and AI systems.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills.
