Kindergarten English Teacher

We are looking for a Kindergarten / Early Years Class Teacher for an international school in Wuxi. This position is available for the upcoming 2026-2027 academic year, starting in August 2026, and we welcome applications from candidates currently based in China or overseas.

Job details

• Lead an early-years class, planning and delivering high-quality, inquiry-based IB PYP learning
• Plan and document Units of Inquiry on ManageBac, working closely with the Curriculum Coordinator
• Differentiate for every learner and support children with individual needs
• Observe, assess and record progress through portfolios and reports
• Manage the pastoral care, wellbeing and behaviour of your class
• Create a stimulating, well-organised classroom that builds independent, resilient learners
• Value each child's cultural background and model mutual respect
• Build strong, positive partnerships with families
• Guide assistant teachers and classroom helpers where applicable
• Collaborate with colleagues and take part in team and whole-school life

• Bachelor's degree or above (Education or a related subject preferred)
• Relevant teaching certification (QTS, PGCE, state license or equivalent)
• Early-years teaching experience; IB PYP experience preferred
• Open to candidates currently in China or overseas

• Monthly salary RMB 23,000 to 30,000, commensurate with experience
• Monthly housing allowance of 4,000 RMB
