About this role
Surespan Ready Mix is seeking a General Labourer with a willingness to train and learn new tasks. Class 3 license preferred but not required. Start Date: as soon as possible
What You'll Be Doing
- Working in the yard under the Yard Foreman, doing maintenance and general yard duties/clean up
- Assist drivers with returned concrete
- Assisting with plant maintenance
- Pour, finish, and help strip concrete blocks
- Training to operate a Ready Mix Truck and/or Front End Loader
- Monthly inventory counts
What Are We Looking For
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Conditions of Employment
- Valid Class 3 license preferred but not required, training provided to ideal candidates.
- Labour experience preferred but not required, training provided.
Work Environment
- Role operates primarily in environments where working conditions include moving equipment, inclement weather, and elevated noise level
