Land Surveyor - LSIT

A. Morton Thomas and Associates, Inc. (AMT), an employee-owned consultant engineering firm, is seeking a Land Surveyor - LSIT to join our Team in the Rockville, MD office.  This candidate will work on both Field and Office Survey assignments. The position will entail working in a dual role to perform both field and office survey assignments.  The survey field assignments will include establishing GNSS and convention survey control networks and topographic/boundary data collection.  The office assignments will include performing survey control network adjustments, LiDAR and data collection processing, survey computations, preparation of topographic and boundary surveys, as-built surveys, and easement plats.    The candidate will be required to have prior experience and be proficient in performing both field and office survey work, as well as preparation of finish survey drawings using AutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley software platforms.   Candidate will have current LSIT certification or be able to obtain LSIT certification within 1 year.
