Last Mile Operations Manager

We're looking for a Last Mile Operations Manager who will lead the last mile team, manage a team of Area Managers to drive high performance, and help turn a new building into a high-performing operation. What you'll do

As Last Mile Operations Manager, you will lead the last mile operation, managing a team of Area Managers to drive high performance across safety, delivery quality, and productivity.

You will:

• Own last mile: Drive delivery performance, on-time rates, safety compliance, and labor management

• Lead & develop: Coach, mentor and scale your team of Area Managers, ensuring optimal staffing, skills, and readiness

• Work with cross-functional teams (Transport, OpEx, HR, IT, Automation) to solve live challenges and align resources

• Monitor delivery KPIs, conduct root-cause analyses, and champion a continuous improvement culture

• Support implementation of new processes, tools and routing/dispatch systems across last mile operations

• Drive standardisation, safety compliance and best-practice adoption in a new operational environment

• Support operations during peak periods, weekends and holidays with hands-on problem-solving

• Build an environment with stronger standards, better processes and an engaging, high-energy culture from Day 1

• Drive your team to successful outcomes and help them adopt new ways of working smoothly and consistently

What we're looking for

• 3+ years of experience in last mile, logistics, transport or delivery operations management

• Proven track record of managing teams (50+ people) in fast-paced environments

• Strong analytical mindset, data-driven decision-making and problem-solving approach

• Excellent communication, coordination and leadership skills

• Proficiency in English, and conversational-level Czech

• Availability to work regular business hours, Monday through Friday, with occasional Saturdays to support operational needs

Nice to have:

• University degree or MBA in a related field

• Experience with Lean, Six Sigma or continuous improvement methodologies

• Experience with routing/dispatch systems, fleet management tools and high-volume delivery operations
