Law Clerk II

Job Description

Fragomen is hiring a Law Clerk to support our Dallas, TX office. We are looking for a 2nd year law student interested in gaining experience with the worlds leading global business immigration law firm. This would be a part time, temporary opportunity requiring a minimum of 12-15 hours per week.  

Our employees work as part of a team, under the direction of an attorney, representing employers in sponsoring foreign workers for immigration benefits.

Responsibilities:

·        Conducting research and drafting petitions

·        Drafting government forms

·        Preparing visa application packets for filing

·        Writing detailed persuasive letters

·        Maintaining files

·        Reviewing documents

·        Identifying issues

·        Communicating with clients

Requirements:

·        Must be able to write persuasively by combining arguments and facts

·        Must be able to analyze issues

·        Must have strong organizational and time management skills

·        Must have excellent attention to detail

·        Should be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high volume environment

·        Should be curious and intelligent

·        Should possess common sense
