QualDerm Partners is on the lookout for an enthusiastic and skilled Lead, Clinical to become a pivotal part of our dedicated team in the pursuit of excellence in dermatological and aesthetic care. As the Lead Clinical, you will be responsible for ensuring superior clinical operations, driving staff performance, and facilitating a positive patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a superuser for the EMA ModMed system, providing guidance to both providers and medical assistants (MAs) regarding system functionalities and troubleshooting.
  • Mentor and train new MAs, helping them to acclimate to the clinic’s procedures and patient care standards.
  • Monitor and optimize patient flow within the clinic by reallocating staff as necessary during peak times.
  • Ensure that the clinical team efficiently manages patient appointments, assists with procedures, and maintains clear communication with patients regarding their care.
  • Oversee inventory management of medical supplies, ensuring that all necessary materials are stocked and organized.
  • Support the Practice Manager by addressing patient complaints and operational issues, conducting research to provide informed solutions.
  • Facilitate compliance with safety and infection control standards, maintaining a clean and orderly clinical environment.
  • Assist in documenting clinical interactions and patient information accurately in the EHR
  • High School diploma or equivalent; completion of a formal medical assistant program is preferred.
  • 2-3 years of recent experience in a clinical role, ideally within a dermatology or cosmetic practice.
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) is a plus.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively interact with patients and clinical staff.
  • Strong organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail in managing multiple tasks.
  • Proficient in using electronic health record systems and medical software.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and best practices in patient care.

Compensation Range: $18.95 - $24.35 per hour. Final offer will be based on a combination of skills, experience, location, and internal equity.
