Job Description Summary

As the Lead Manufacturing Engineer at the Changwon HRSG Factory, he/she will work for the Manufacturing Engineer team within the Planning & Fulfillment organization. He/She is responsible for supporting management of manufacturing engineering documents, engineering document review to prevent NCR driven by engineering error, Follow up trouble shooting with manufacturing & global engineering group. Additionally, he/she contributes to quality-related tasks such as BIQ, PSR, and PFMEA.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities

As an Engineer you will:

• Develop and control welding procedures and parameters (WPS/PQR), support welder qualification, and ensure the feasibility and quality of pressure part fabrication through technical guidance on welding
• Develop Manufacturing Procedures and Work Instructions based on customer contracts, applicable codes & standards, and engineering documents.
• Conduct quality improvement activities including BIQ, Internal Audits, PSR, and PFMEA to resolve quality issues and enhance production quality.
• Drive technical development initiatives aimed at improving HRSG fabrication and welding quality.
• Actively participate in site issue resolution to ensure prompt response to quality problems.
• Communicate technical details to production engineers and shop workers through the preparation of fabrication drawings, technical specifications, and direct communication.
• Review engineering documents(E-BOM, Drawing) before manufacturing with activating engineering pre-flight check list system.
• Act as the communication pivot between Manufacturing and Engineering, managing Engineering Document OTD (On-Time Delivery) and trouble shooting issues.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from university
• At least 3 years HRSG engineering or Manufacturing engineering or Quality experience
• Fluent Business English skill
• Basic understanding of ASME / EN Codes & Standards
• Experience in welding and fabrication of pressure parts

Desired Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering.
• Proficient in 3D CAD design & review
• Experience with HRSG/Boiler/Pressure Vessel Manufacturing
• Understanding of Heat Treatment, Metallurgy (especially Cr-Mo steels)
• Familiar with NCR handling, RCA, CAPA process

주요 업무

Manufacturing Engineer로서 아래 업무를 수행합니다.

• 용접 절차 및 조건(WPS/PQR)을 개발·관리하고, 용접사 자격 인증을 지원하며, 용접 관련 기술 지원을 통해 압력부 제작의 품질과 제조 가능성을 확보합니다.
• 고객 계약 조건, 관련 코드 및 규격, 엔지니어링 문서를 기반으로 제조 절차서(Manufacturing Procedure) 및 작업 표준서(Work Instruction)를 작성합니다.
• BIQ, 내부 감사(Internal Audit), PSR, PFMEA 등 품질 개선 활동을 수행하여 품질 문제를 해결하고 생산 품질을 향상시킵니다.
• HRSG 제작 및 용접 품질 향상을 위한 기술 개발 활동을 주도합니다.
• 현장 이슈 해결에 적극 참여하여 품질 문제에 신속하게 대응합니다.
• 제작 도면, 기술 사양서 작성 및 직접적인 커뮤니케이션을 통해 생산 엔지니어와 작업자에게 기술 정보를 전달합니다.
• 엔지니어링 사전 점검 체크리스트(Engineering Pre-Release Checklist) 시스템을 활용하여 제조 전 엔지니어링 문서(E-BOM, 도면)를 검토합니다.
• Manufacturing과 Engineering 간의 핵심 커뮤니케이션 창구 역할을 수행하며, 엔지니어링 문서의 OTD(On-Time Delivery) 관리 및 이슈 트러블슈팅을 담당합니다.

자격 요건

• 대학교 공학 계열 학사 학위 보유자
• HRSG 엔지니어링, 제조 엔지니어링 또는 품질 관련 경력 3년 이상
• 비즈니스 영어 활용 능력
• ASME / EN 코드 및 규격에 대한 기본 이해
• 압력부 용접 및 제작 경험

우대 사항

• 용접, 재료, 기계공학 학사 학위 보유자
• HRSG / 보일러 / 압력용기 제조 경험
• 열처리 및 금속재료학(특히 Cr-Mo강)에 대한 이해
• NCR 처리, RCA(근본 원인 분석), CAPA(시정 및 예방조치) 프로세스에 대한 이해
• 3D CAD 설계 및 검토 역량 보유자
