Lead Presales Engineer

Job Summary:

The Lead Presales Engineer, based in Algosystems in Athens Greece, will work closely with Sales, Technical Teams and Technology Vendors to design and propose innovative solutions that address customer needs across Cybersecurity, Infrastructure and ICT environments.

What You Will Do: 

The role has direct impact on revenue, solution quality, and margins. You will play a leading role with a hands on approach in presales activities, technical evaluation, design and presentation of solutions, supporting the sales cycle from the early discovery phase through proposal delivery.

Reporting to the Presales Director.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate presales activities across opportunities

• Design and propose ICT / Cyber Security / Cloud solutions
• Prepare and validate technical proposals, BoMs, and SoWs
• Actively support Sales in customer meetings and deal closing
• Take ownership of key and complex opportunities
• Collaborate with vendors (e.g. Cisco, Fortinet) for optimal solutions
• Ensure solutions are technically sound and commercially viable

Job Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
• 6+ years of experience in a Presales/Solutions Engineering
• Strong understanding of ICT infrastructure environments (networking, systems, virtualization or cybersecurity)
• Hands-on experience in solution design and customer-facing roles
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Fluency in Greek and English
