Job Description:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Legal Assistant to support our legal team. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, possess strong communication skills, and have a passion for the legal field.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys with case preparation, legal research, and document drafting
- Organize and maintain case files, both physical and electronic
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, hearings, and client consultations
- Communicate with clients, courts, and other parties professionally and promptly
- Manage correspondence, including emails, letters, and legal documents
- Ensure compliance with deadlines and filing requirements
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certification preferred
- 1-3 years of experience in a legal setting - Immigration Setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Bilingual (Spanish or another language) is a plus
