Job Description

What will your typical day look like?  

  • Partner directly with senior client stakeholders, including Supply Chain Directors, General Managers and C-suite executives, to solve complex supply chain and operational challenges. 
  • Lead high-impact supply chain transformation engagements across areas such as planning, procurement, manufacturing, warehousing, inventory optimisation, logistics and network design. 
  • Drive operational performance improvements that enhance service, resilience, productivity and cost efficiency across end-to-end supply chains. 
  • Leverage Deloitte's capabilities in Digital, Data Analytics, Technology and Enterprise Transformation to deliver innovative and sustainable supply chain solutions. 
  • Lead workstreams and multidisciplinary teams, ensuring high-quality delivery, strong commercial outcomes and exceptional client experiences. 
  • Design and implement target operating models, operating rhythms, governance frameworks and continuous improvement initiatives. 
  • Facilitate executive-level workshops and strategic discussions to align stakeholders, define priorities and accelerate decision-making. 
  • Analyse operational, financial and supply chain data to identify insights, opportunities and areas for performance improvement. 
  • Build trusted advisor relationships with clients, contributing to business development activities and identifying opportunities for future engagement. 
  • Coach, mentor and develop team members, fostering capability growth and excellence in delivery. 

Qualifications

Enough about us, let’s talk about you  

  • 8+ years' experience in consulting, industry, or a combination of both, with a strong focus on supply chain, operations or business transformation. 
  • Proven experience leading large-scale supply chain or operational transformation programmes and delivering measurable business outcomes. 
  • Deep expertise across one or more supply chain disciplines, including supply planning, procurement, logistics, manufacturing, inventory management or distribution. 
  • Demonstrated ability to engage, influence and challenge senior stakeholders, including executive leadership teams. 
  • Strong commercial acumen and a track record of identifying opportunities to improve performance, reduce costs and enhance customer outcomes. 
  • Experience leading complex workstreams, managing teams and delivering projects in fast-paced environments. 
  • Exceptional facilitation, presentation and stakeholder management skills, with experience leading workshops and executive forums. 
  • A track record of developing high-performing teams through coaching, mentoring and career development support. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations. 
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations Management, Commerce or a related discipline. Postgraduate qualifications are advantageous.
