We create and curate celebrated series and films across distinct brands and make them available to audiences everywhere. Our portfolio includes targeted streaming services AMC+, Acorn TV, Shudder, Sundance Now, ALLBLK and HIDIVE; cable networks AMC, BBC AMERICA, Independent Film Company, Sundance TV and We TV; and film distribution labels Independent Film Company and RLJE Films. The company also operates AMC Studios, our in-house studio, production, and distribution operation behind acclaimed and fan-favorite originals including The Walking Dead Universe and the Anne Rice Immortal Universe, and AMC Networks International, our international programming business.
 
We are currently seeking a Manager, Content Distribution to join our Global Distribution & Licensing team based in our Santa Monica, CA location. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Work in partnership with Home Video distribution partner to evaluate and approve promotional title lists and pricing 
• Review weekly/monthly home video sales, manufacturing and inventory reports and address any discrepancies or concerns 
• Conduct post-mortems on home video release profitability, sales/promotions results and manage the QBR process with Home Video distribution partner. 
• Identify titles in AMC Global Media’s library for special editions, bundles and new/expanded exploitation opportunities across all media 
• Collaborate with Licensing team in evaluating sub-licensing opportunities on Home Video 
• Curate content lists to support territory/partner specific initiatives across worldwide TVOD, AVOD, and international FAST 
• Coordinate with Rights Management to resolve issues or questions with rights and availability reports 

QUALIFICATIONS (Required & Preferred)

• Bachelor's degree required with an emphasis in marketing, business and/or communications  
• 5 + years of experience in media, distribution, Pay or Streaming TV  
• Excellent working knowledge across Microsoft Office applications and Airtable  
• Strong oral and written communication skills with ability to interact with executive level internal leaders and external clients  
• Well organized and detail oriented  
• Ability to maintain highest degree of confidentiality and diplomacy  

 
The base compensation for this position is $70,000 - $90,000  commensurate with experience.
